Big doings at the Fluxbuntu home page

Edit: Unfortunately, the images originally included in this post are gone, because of hosting problems in late 2009. My apologies.

This looks promising. And for anyone who likes Fluxbox with Ubuntu, it probably looks quite exciting.

I was worried for a while that Fluxbuntu had drowned, since it skipped the Feisty release altogether, and the forums were taken down for a long time.

But it looks like someone is still at work behind those pages. Or maybe the counter will just reach zero, and start counting back up again. … ๐Ÿ˜

I thought they were dead and I really hope they are back for real.
Fluxbuntu is a very nice idea.
With them and UbuntuLite we will have the choice ๐Ÿ˜‰

Funny, I was messing with Fluxbuntu just few days ago. Glad to hear that they are going ahead towards Gutsy. I figured they were using Dapper because of the LTS.

Btw, the screenshots on that page look pretty. ๐Ÿ™‚

I’ve always liked Fluxbuntu, and I’ve never been cool with it being considered an “old computer” distro. Some of us just like to keep things light, ok? Some of us like a little efficiency.

    Jeez.

Man, I hope this comes through ok.
