So did I. Never mind, there's a good article here at Britain's National Museum of Computing about the their rebuild of a Mk.II Colossus on the site of Colossus No.9. It makes K.Mandla's Pentium laptops look futuristic. :)

I can't say I've ever been gifted as to have played a pen and paper game with anybody - D&D included, just didn't have that sort of crowd to hang out.

After pen&paper D&D, the next item of my list would be the http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Traveller_(role-playing_game) traveller game. The Megatraveller 2 DOS sequel had a nice GUI for pen-and-paper character creation and was always thorough. I would spend hours "Rolling" 70 year old merchant guild veterans for the heck of it.
The DOS game is available at http://www.abandonia.com/en/games/851/MegaTraveller+2+-+Quest+for+the+Ancients.html

These days I don't see why an "AD&D" ruleset for any modern game would be exciting at all. The dice are rolled in the background and I just don't find it very fun.
