		<description><![CDATA[I have puppy running on a old Toshiba satellite 300CDS with a 166MHz pentium mmx.
I find that neither of the newer puppy 4.31 kernels (2.6.25.16 or 2.6.30.5) work - only the retro puppy 4.31 with the 2.6.21.7 kernel.
I don&#039;t think it is so much the kernel version as the ide drivers compiled into the kernel (the 2.6.17 kernel has the old ide drivers while the two more recent use pata).]]></description>
