Tiny Core goes 1.0

I’m still a Tiny Core Linux fan, and I was excited to see that the ISO finally moved out of rc today and went to full 1.0.

I’ll have to check if a CD burner was included in the repositories or not; that would be the only thing I would be missing. I prefer a graphical interface to the command line when I’m making CDs (I have a tendency to misburn stuff when I’m at the command line … just bad luck, I guess).

I keep a copy of Tiny Core on a business-card-sized CD (and another one with Slitaz on it) for troubleshooting purposes. Actually, now that I think of it, combining this, Slitaz and dban on one mini-ISO would be ideal. I might have to look into that. …
