		<description><![CDATA[Yup, that&#039;s the reliance of the new Xorg on hal and dbus. Since Crux doesn&#039;t include those by default (or start them automatically unless you tell it to), you need the evdev driver and those two programs to make the mouse and keyboard work.

It&#039;s another one of those &quot;features&quot; disguised as &quot;bugs.&quot; I hate those.

Check this for a quick solution. Or quicker than compiling those two, anyway.

Jay512 and I over at linuxforums are getting our tails whipped with xorg. Unlike 2.2, 2.3 and 2.4, running startx or /etc/rc.d/xdm start causes a hard and deep freeze of mouse and keyboard necessitating a box kill and reboot. Ctrl - Alt - Backspace has no effect. Did you run into this at all? I&#039;ve been wrestling with this for two days now, seeking and trying solutions from all over the net. Any help or insight you might provide would be very welcomed!
