And actually, that’s a really good idea — running fbpanel with lxpanel, instead of managing two fbpanels. I might have to try that some time. lxpanel is great for being easy to set up. running it with the other would be a nice accent.

It’s a pity lxpanel doesn’t do multiple instances lije fbpanel – it’s got a couple of extra bells & whistles, though I haven’t found how to do custom menus and launchers on it, other than making .desktop files.

A compromise is to have one fbpanel and one lxpanel. It doesn’t seem to use much more memory than two fbpanels.
