I have converted one of my children’s teachers to Ubuntu and I am actively working on converting my neighbors. :-)
I am a lot older than FuturePilot, and I have been in love with computing since my high school days, when I would go over to the University and play with their PDP 1170. :-)
I thoght paper tape, for holding programs, was a big step up from punch cards. :-)
I also remember BitNet, ArpaNet and MilNet… I am surprised to find my BitNet postings can still be found on the Internet…
