		<description><![CDATA[Off-topic in relation to your last post but since I know you are an advocate of Xubuntu, I would like your thoughts on the latest 7.10 release. 

I download the beta earlier this morning and was quite surprised to see that they still haven&#039;t fixed the terminal crashing and taking you back to the log-in and also that nothing had been done to improve the menu editing process. 

In fact, other than the fonts seem to be a bit prettier, unless I&#039;m missing something that only an install might show, I can see no reason at all to upgrade. None. 

I did notice that they had a &quot;places&quot; in the top panel which I hoped meant that local a network could be seen in Thunar but unless I see on the Ubuntu forums where this is indeed what it means, I&#039;ll stick with LinNeighborhood and MC to do my simple home networking. &quot;Places&quot; could be another &quot;menu editor&quot;, you know. ;-)]]></description>
