While my computer isn’t exactly ancient with it’s AMD Sempron 2.0GHz, 1 GB RAM, and 256MB Nvidia Geforce 6200…..I play World of Warcraft…and it seems like Gnome chokes that game. Gnome is getting just as bloated as KDE IMHO. I will at least give Openbox a try. I’ve never heard of it!.

I see that the repositories are flagged as i386, but that’s just a metapackage, so there’s no real binary in there, I think. All the software is drawn from the repos you already have set in your sources.list, so if you’re on a PPC and you’re downloading from those repos, it might work.

Don’t hold me to that though. I gave up my last PPC machine about four years ago. … :(
