T-minus 10 days, and counting

I have finally arranged for Internet service at home, through NTT and plala (the ISP), and I’m getting excited. Of course, I had to apply through an NTT interpreter, but she was very helpful and very professional.

The cost is about the same as I was paying for high-speed service in America, with a few months thrown in for free, as a summer package deal. I set up the computer, the technician sets up the service. Excellent.

Installation date is 27 July. My fingers are crossed. :D
