I recompiled the new version of VICE on Edgy, and didn’t have any problems at all. I haven’t had a chance to tweak all the nifty settings, but I’ll play with it more after I touch up the howto.
Time for a little Raid on Bungeling Bay. 
VICE is a most excellent emulator. Glad to see that you were able to get it working easily.
If you don’t mind, I would like to know where the wallpaper on your March 20, 2007 desktop came from?
