What a great little game: Fizzball

Grubby Games has a fantastic little game called Fizzball available as a demo download for Linux (or Windows, if you want). I has a little bit of Breakout in it, a little bit of Katamari Damacy in it, and as one person put it, it’s “so cute it’ll make you puke.”

The full version is for sale, and it is probably well worth it, if the demo is any indicator. I have it running on both Arch and Ubuntu Linux machines, one as slow as 750Mhz.

They have another Linux variant — Professor Fizzlewizzle — which is a different game altogether, but has the same cast. A little more of a puzzle and a little less action, but just as impressive.

Thanks to the Fizzball thread for pointing it out.
