The Ubuntu Women group is planning an IRC meeting on Jan. 11 and 12 in #ubuntu-women on irc.freenode.net. (There are actually two meetings to accomodate different time zones.)
No, the meeting is not exclusive to women. Look here for exact times and the agenda.
