Concurrent boot settings for Edgy

Edgy’s concurrent boot option can trim boot times on some machines. Inside the /etc/init.d/rc file is the concurrency option. Changing that to shell rather than none does the trick. I haven’t tried the startpar option, so I don’t know enough about it to vouch for its usefulness. A discussion is underway here.
