The Iceweasel icon thing really took off. Gstubbs digged the thread and we got nearly 6,000 pageviews in the first two days. .t. opened a wiki page for Iceweasel, and there are pages for IceDove and IceApe as well.
It’s worth mentioning that the Gnuzilla team is watching the wiki page for potential icons, so aspiring artists have a chance at lifelong fame. They’re also keen on IceDove and IceApe icons too.
I haven’t heard a deadline on the issue, but I don’t think it’s an issue for community vote. I’m fairly sure they plan to pick their favorites, touch them up and use them. It’s probably a good idea.
